Wealth Advisor

Stephen Bene is a wealth advisor and retirement income planning specialist at Beneficial Wealth. His mission is to educate clients on financial, retirement and tax planning strategies and provide them with sound, independent and unbiased advice.

Stephen provides customized strategies to help solve his clients’ financial concerns. By analyzing financial and personal circumstances, he provides solutions to help increase their assets, reduce their taxes, and makes planning for their legacy simple.

Stephen believes he has the professional, moral and ethical responsibility to be transparent with clients during every step of the financial planning process. His goal is to share his knowledge of comprehensive financial and retirement planning strategies to help individuals, families and business owners have the confidence to know they are making the right decisions and have the right long-term strategy for themselves and their family.

As the son of two dedicated and passionate math teachers, Stephen learned at an early age that education is fundamental. His desire to help and his education-based approach with clients is a direct result of the values his parents taught him and encouraged throughout his upbringing. To validate his commitment to furthering his education and competency in the advice he provides, Stephen has earned multiple certifications, designations, and licenses.

A frequent speaker at professional events and workshops, Stephen brings experience and simplicity to vital and complex topics impacting retirement and tax planning strategies. He continuously informs and educates adults within our communities about financial and retirement matters.

Jeffery Costello CFF, NSSA

Wealth Advisor

At Beneficial Wealth, Jeffrey Costello specializes in retirement income planning and wealth management, with a focus on tax optimization. For over a decade, he has been collaborating closely with clients to create holistic retirement income plans that prioritize tax efficiency and financial flexibility to enhance their wealth. He customizes investment portfolios for each client to align with their specific goals and objectives while also providing risk management solutions.

As a Certified Financial Fiduciary®, Jeffrey empowers pre-retirees and retirees to transition their savings into dependable retirement income sources through a holistic financial planning approach, which enables clients to achieve their financial goals and independence without worry or concern.

Jeffrey earned a bachelor’s degree in statistics and psychology from Rutgers University, where he developed a deep interest in financial education and advocacy. He channels his passion for giving back through his involvement with the American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting financial literacy. Additionally, Jeffrey devotes his time to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, a nationwide volunteer-supported mentoring network that supports young children.

Jeffrey currently resides in Hillsborough, NJ, with his wife, Kari, and their three children, whom he cherishes spending time with. When not working, he competes in softball leagues, snowboards, golfs, and seeks out the tristate area’s best slice of pizza. Jeffrey attributes his early career accomplishments to the valuable lessons taught by his blue-collar parents, including a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed and a passion for helping others.

Ronald J. Costello

Ronald Costello is a financial services professional at Beneficial Wealth.

Ron has been providing financial services and insurance advice for more than 30 years working closely with businesses and individuals alike. Most often, he creates and oversees the development of solutions designed specifically for the needs of small, mid-size and large corporate client’s. Ron works closely with other trusted advisors at Beneficial Wealth to provide holistic life insurance and investment strategies to these client’s employees.

Life insurance, although often one of the largest assets that individuals own, is often the most neglected—sometimes going even decades without a proper review. Ron’s experience includes analyzing existing insurance policies for weaknesses and identifying essential improvements. Ron focuses on reviewing each client’s needs and expectations, preserving their assets and working to ensure their objectives are met now and in the future.

Ron has a bachelor’s degree from Stockton University. In his free time, he has his United States captain’s license and enjoys fishing, golfing and boating.

Thomas Rozman, CFA®, CAIA®

Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Rozman is responsible for leading the Investment team for Simplicity Wealth. Prior to Simplicity, Mr. Rozman was President and Chief Investment Officer of Sawtooth Solutions. He also worked in Institutional Sales and Trading at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Rozman is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst®, and is Series 65 registered. He has previously held Series 7 and 24 securities licenses. Mr. Rozman earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A from St. Olaf College.

Paul Tinnirello

Director of Operations

Mr. Tinnirello is responsible for overseeing Operations for Simplicity Wealth. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, and was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Bleakley Financial Group. He began his career as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch before transitioning into leadership, management, and compliance roles at wirehouses and RIAs. Mr. Tinnirello holds dual Masters degrees from Fordham University, with concentrations in Management and Finance.

Michael Mortellaro

Head of Planning

Mr. Mortellaro is responsible for leading the Planning team for Simplicity Wealth. Prior to Simplicity, Mr. Mortellaro led the Practice & Planning teams at Global Financial Private Capital. In his 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, he also held executive leadership positions at Charles Schwab, Fidelity Investments, and New York Life. Mr. Mortellaro is Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licensed, and is a Life and Health insurance licensed agent. Mr. Mortellaro earned a B.B.A. from American Intercontinental University.

Scott Raider

Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Raider serves as Chief Compliance Officer for Simplicity Wealth. Prior to joining Simplicity, Mr. Raider served as Chief Compliance Officer for a rapidly expanding independent financial advisory firm and as a Designated Principal and Compliance Supervision Analyst at the largest independent broker-dealer in the nation. With over a decade of experience in compliance supervision and regional management, Mr. Raider directs the development and optimization of compliance policies, procedures, and systems across the Wealth channel. Mr. Raider earned a B.S. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
